Q: HOW DO I BOOK A HOME?
A: You can either make a booking directly on this website by using the "Check Availability" box to the left. Or you can call our office at 844-77-RELAX and we will be glad to assist you.

Q: IS BOOKING ONLINE SECURE?
A: We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Q: IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
A: Yes. Heritage Coastal Vacation Rentals only rents to persons 25 years of age or older. In addition, we do not allow prom groups, school graduation groups, fraternity groups or sorority groups.

Q: WHEN IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
A: Check- in is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM local time and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM local time. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced as a courtesy to other renters. Under special circumstances, an early check-in or late check-out is available for a fee. 

Q: WHAT IF WE ARRIVE LATE?
A: Please let us know as soon as possible if your travel plans have been delayed. If necessary, we can make alternate check-in arrangements for an additional fee.

Q: WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH THE ACCOMMODATION?
A: All properties will include cable or satellite television, wifi, dishes, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, linens and bath towels. Some properties will also provide a landline telephone, barbeque grill, recreational items, DVD players, games, movies, patio furniture and beach furniture. Heritage Coastal Vacation Rentals cannot guarantee the latter, as they are provided at the owners discretion and are subject to change at any time. This information is available in the property description. In all properties, we will also provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels and an initial supply of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, coffee filters, shampoo and conditioner and body lotion. Guests will be required to restock these items for personal use, once they have run out. Guests should provide their own beach towels, sunscreen, hats, beach toys, umbrellas and beach chairs. Please refer to the "Vacation Checklist", under the "Be Our Guest" tab for a more detailed list.

Q: ARE PETS ALLOWED?
A: We offer several homes, some of which allow pets and some do not. You can access our pet friendly properties by clicking on the "Stay" tab above and then selecting "Pet Friendly Properties" from the drop-down menu options. You may also contact our office at 844-77-RELAX and we will be happy to help find a home that is just right for you and your pet.

Q: DO YOU OFFER PROPERTIES OUTSIDE OF GALVESTON?
A: Currently, we are only offering properties on Galveston Island. Some options to consider would be: Beachfront with Gulf views; Beachside with limited or no views of the Gulf, but usually walking distance to the beach; Bayfront with bay views; Bayside with limited or no bay views but easier access for fishing, bird watching, etc.; Canal; and Downtown or in-town rentals.

Q: WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A VACATION HOME RENTAL?
A: Our vacation homes are stocked in such a way that you always feel like you are coming "home" to your "vacation home" rather than returning to a small hotel room. Our homes have full kitchens, with some homes having game rooms, hot tubs and BBQ grills. You will be able to enjoy a full service home while you are on vacation rather than a small, cramped hotel room.
